outdoors
We propose an exciting guided tour in all-terrain vehicles (ATV) to discover the paths that run along the banks of the Allende Dam and the natural environment of San Miguel, passing through the community of San Miguel Viejo, historic haciendas, viceroyalty chapels and other places of interest, enjoying the landscapes of different colors and textures depending on the season of the year.

These adventures are exciting and fun, they can be strong or light depending on your preference.
Enjoy San Miguel and its surroundings on an adventure to caballo. There are half-day (5h), full-day (8h) and camping (30h) excursions through the main canyon of the region, from its beginning at the Boca de la Cañada ranch, to its central part known as Coyote Canyon. .
There are also horseback rides through the historic center of San Miguel at sunset and, for the bravest and most adventurous, there is the option of horseback riding through bars.
Rappelling is an extreme descent technique that is carried out on the beautiful cliffs that border the canyon with a spectacular view, at an approximate height of more than 50 meters. All you have to do is slide down the ropes to the freedom of a unique and exciting experience. It will be one of the most memorable moments of the trip to San Miguel! Suitable for (almost) all ages and physical conditions.
Our canyon hikes include transportation from San Miguel and back, guides, insurance, a ranch meal, and the 2.5- or 3-hour hike (5 hours total). We leave the ranch at the top of the canyon, following the plains that surround it, until we reach its edge and descend to the stream that runs through it. We go up the canyon by other paths and enjoy spectacular views at all times. It is approximately the same route as the horseback excursions, so we can combine a group of riders with a group that wishes to take the excursion on foot. Medium level of difficulty (due to the conditions of the terrain, the steep descent and the ascent).
Enjoy these outdoor experiences very close to San Miguel de Allende.
